During the prestigious Zoute Grand Prix, Qarts brings a unique go-cart rally to the event for the first time. A special meeting of heritage, innovation, and driving pleasure, where young and old write history together.

A fresh start with a new look
After years in Westkapelle, Qarts is moving to a new location in Oostkamp. With extra space for growth, a renewed corporate identity, and website. A refreshed appearance and name. Qarts is born.


A new chapter: takeover by Charlotte and Arnaud.
With the acquisition of T&T Quality Go-Carts by Sourcing Partners, a fresh phase begins. The passion and craftsmanship behind go-cart production immediately captured the imagination. Charlotte Bau and Arnaud De Buysscher take over from founder Carl Gies, who will then fully focus on production.
Partnership with Sourcing Partners
T&T Quality Go-Carts is joining forces with Sourcing Partners, a metal supplier based in Oostkamp. Together, they are laying the groundwork for future-oriented growth.


T&T Quality Go-carts is born
The unique craftsmanship involved in building go-karts continues to fascinate Carl. His passion led him to acquire the go-kart manufacturer Turbo Karting, which he revitalized under the name T&T Quality Go-Carts.
Innovation from our own region.
The moped manufacturer Flandria-Supreria from Zedelgem developed its own version of the popular butt cart. Thanks to their technical expertise and large-scale production, this iconic pedal vehicle from 1965 remained a familiar sight along the Belgian coast.


First Belgian Go-cart
In Bruges, Richard Proot built the first Belgian go-cart. His artisanal creations became a well-known name along the Belgian coast and were passionately manufactured until 2006.
A revolution on four wheels.
With the introduction of the British Coventry Rotary Quadracycle by James Starley, the first four-wheeled vehicle with bicycle pedals appeared. This groundbreaking design laid the foundation for pedal carts and go-carts as we know them today.


First four-wheeled go-cart introduced in NY.
At the World’s Fair in New York, a four-wheeled go-cart was presented to the public for the first time. This innovative vehicle formed the basis for generations of pedal carts that still keep young and old moving today.
